My Wife's early child hood was in

Lilli thinking, I just got to see where I have been.
Back to memories lane

Location of House from Church,
among fifteen homes or more, from here, spotted across the side of the mountain.

Lilli was born in a coal company house,
after two older sisters. Evelyn and Nita
she was about two years old when she and the rest of the family moved to Huntengton, where they rented a house while they had a new house built on 10th Avnue on a beautiful brick street.

Lilli was delighted to see her birth place modernizing. Half of this Mountain was cut away, to make room for a large shopping center. We enjoyed staying in this lovely Holiday Express

Lilli's Father probably helped build this Church

Lilli's Father ministered some in this church
Her Father was a electrician in the coal mine
Later he became a minister.
Moved to Huntington W.Va.
where he was employed as electrician for C&O Railroad.

Later became a full time Minister

 Lilies evangelized through
out West Virginia and Virginia including many Coal mining areas, for four and half years, starting when she was 21

We also looked for her Aunt Lou and uncle Millard's house, which was a twin to this brick house, but sadly it had been torn down.

Lilli and her two sisters, Evelyn and Nita, in child hood traveled by train to visit in Logan most every summer,
over 50 years ago
About 68 miles from Huntington where they lived
